Hiking, running, swimming every bit of Hong Kong

Tag HK island

D’Aguilar peninsula

Once upon a time Dragon’s Back was a nice hike option around Shek O. Overcrowded now. Other options in the same area here: nice view hill & tiny streams.

Big Wave streams

Big Wave Bay beach, apart of surfing and couple of coasteering routes (from Chai Wan or to Shek O), offers several streams around. Relatively short jungle-like.

Peak streams 2

I wrote some time ago about the most known streams heading to the Peak area, here several more in the vicinity, a bit less known.

Cape D’Aguilar coasteering

Spectacular coasteering in the South East of Hong Kong island. Nice rock formations, caves, some history, and an impressive waterfall plunging into the sea.

Ocean Park coasteering

Having fun under the amusement park. Sea caves, nice rock formations, fishermen getting all kinds of different mollusks.

Tai Tam reservoir

Dry winter months allow you to visit the reservoir within. Strange beauty. A beach that is not a beach.
