Hiking, running, swimming every bit of Hong Kong

Category Hiking

Tung Ma To

Tung Ma To (東馬肚坑 – East Horse Belly stream) South tributary is a spectacular difficult jungle stream connecting with the Hunch Backs.

D’Aguilar peninsula

Once upon a time Dragon’s Back was a nice hike option around Shek O. Overcrowded now. Other options in the same area here: nice view hill & tiny streams.

Hidden Dragon

Another tributary with nice waterfalls in Wong Lung Han area. Steadily steep, with some scrambling sections & fewer people than the latter.

Pak Mong stream

One of the cleanest streams hiked in Lantau. Relatively easy to hike, with side paths for “trickier” sections. The exits are quite bushy nowadays.

Dragon’s Jaw

Really nice waterfalls and spectacular cliff views in Wong Lung Han area. Steadily steep but with some trickier sections & less people than the latter.

Crouching Dragon

Have you check Wong Lung Han and want to continue exploring all the area and challenge yourself with a higher cliff climb? Then continue reading.

Big Wave streams

Big Wave Bay beach, apart of surfing and couple of coasteering routes (from Chai Wan or to Shek O), offers several streams around. Relatively short jungle-like.

Peak streams 2

I wrote some time ago about the most known streams heading to the Peak area, here several more in the vicinity, a bit less known.

Loi Po Sai stream

I was trying to find a fun way to go to the Penis rock, but this Loi Po Sai stream (女婆西坑) is not especially interesting. Only recommended for those trying to conquer all streams in HK.
