Next to Wong Lung Han you have a stream which is mostly known for its ending. The Celestial Book, two almost perfectly perpendicular walls that resemble gods’ writing.
Close to the now urban area of Ma On Shan the biggest mining activity in Hong Kong was recorded in the 20th century. Remains are still there.

The Plover Cove country park has very popular waterfalls, mainly Bride’s Pool. Just minutes walking from there you find a really nice stream to hike.
Discovery Bay has super accessible streams. Easy and cute with several extra fun spots around.
Ng Tung Chai might be the most well-known waterfalls in Hong Kong. Hiking in the stream though, you “unlock” its beauty further.
