Hiking, running, swimming every bit of Hong Kong

Category Coasteering

Double Haven

More coastal hiking than coasteering while crossing out the last significant sections of the “uncivilized” coast of Hong Kong. Easy & uninteresting.

West KoLauWan

Continuing with my goal of checking all the rocky coastline, another so so route with too much wading & only a few pretty & fun sections.

Hei Ling Chau

Way better than expected coasteering with nice scramble and big boulder areas. Half of the island is a No Go due to correctional and others.

Plover Cove coasteering

Another coasteering route only for those who want to see it all. Or a cute rock spot to add in case you are hiking/coasteering in the area.

Wu Ying Pai

Wu Ying Pai 烏蠅排 are two islets semi connected by a short tombolo just in front of Disney. Very cute & photogenic, mainly with a drone.

Eagle Beak rock

One of the very Instagramy rocks on the Hong Kong coastline. Relatively easy or difficult to reach depending on your preferences & the tide.

Tuen Tsui

Long coasteering far away in Saikung. For those looking for the most remote adventures. Long outing on your own. Much more doable with a boat.

North TaiLongWan

Coasteering to the Easternmost point of the Hong Kong peninsula including peculiar small islands, a long swim, caves, a tunnel & clear seawater.

Pyrinees

Spectacular mountains between Spain & France. Hiking, relative easy mountaineering, waterfalls, canyoning, via ferratas, and more.
