One of those spots that became Instagram famous for a while but in reality compared with our usual coasteering fun it is like ¯_(ツ)_/¯
After doing Kai Sau Chau East I decide to continue checking ALL the coastline. As expected almost nothing interesting here. Just one more island ticked out.
Coasteering under one of the biggest golf courses in Hong Kong. Some interesting old pools, easy on rocks, and some nice views atop the hills.
Coasteering the big island in Sokos. Some nice rock formations, several beaches, and part of the not-so-nice nor distant history of Hong Kong.
Remote and very photogenic islets a long swim away from Grass Island. Possible good snorkeling, scrambling, and extra fun around.
Long Ke to Sai Wan coasteering and short stream hiking is a classic long route that requires experienced buddies and some advance planning.
Are you a complete beginner who wants a really easy coasteering route taking a few nice cave pics & little more? Then this can be for you.
The furthermost route in Lantau. The very last spot for me to check in its coastline. Perfect “ending”: nice rocks, good scrambling & dolphins!
The North route in Po Toi is really good but very long & exposed. The South allows more tranquil coasteering even with bad wave/wind conditions.
