Hiking, running, swimming every bit of Hong Kong

Tag Easy

Deep Water stream

Convenient little stream good for a short outing with beginners and/or to add to other routes around. Clear water & a few picturesque falls.

Luk Keng

Japanese WW2 bunkers, picturesque landscapes, an even more photogenic stream, in a route that can be as easy as you wish. Additional fun around.

Hau Tong Kai

A mixed feelings route. Beautiful but I’m afraid could be spoiled soon. Please be considered with villagers around and don’t make it Man Cheung Po v2…

Tai Tam coasteering

The East shoreline of Tai Tam Bay offers an easy route full of small beaches and old structures. Good for beginners or “want to see it all”s.

Tei Shek stream

An easy, short, nice stream with several waterfalls and pools in Lantau. To add for a long day or good for beginners (explanation) on its own.

Thousand Islands

This can be a super simple adventure or just a walk. Including it on the web only because quite some people have asked me about the viewpoints.

High Junk Peak

Quite some people associate Clear Water Bay with relaxed, or party mode, junk boat days. The area offers way more including an iconic peak and a special looking island.

Yin Ngam stream

Relatively wide and easy stream good for beginners with some stamina, as it can get a bit long. Only small waterfalls but with nice pools where to take a rest.

Teapot ridge (茶壺咀脊)

Another easier way to go to South Heaven’s Gate (all the routes here). Not as spectacular as Dog’s Tooth version, but suitable for less experienced hikers or those with mild vertigo.
