Hiking, running, swimming every bit of Hong Kong

Category Streams

Ta Lam Wu

Checking further the valley of Ho Chung. Decent low-flow tributary with a few nice falls and some surprises to end the stream.

Swallowtail stream

Unnamed yet. I found hundreds of Swallowtail moths while checking it. The reason why I called it that way. Almost completely uninteresting.

Deep Water stream

Convenient little stream good for a short outing with beginners and/or to add to other routes around. Clear water & a few picturesque falls.

Little Hawaii

Really beautiful stream full of high waterfalls and small pools, very close to the city. Only BIG con: completely polluted and full of trash 😓

Yuen Tun North

圓墩北坑 Yuen Tun North Creek is a small one but with very pretty high waterfalls. Good to combine with some other fun spots around.

Yuen Tun West

圓墩西坑 Yuen Tun West Creek is a short small one with little flow. Just good to combine with other streams and spotlights in the area.

Tsak Yue Wu

Have you hiked Qiu Feng & wanna give its twin a try? Similar flow, nicer falls, just a more inconvenient exit. Or you could try both in one go.

Wo Yeung stream

Low flow stream with dense vegetation which improves the higher & higher you go. Ending with nice waterfalls and within a rock forest.

Organ creek

Low flow stream with dense vegetation just interesting in the lower part. At the bottom volcanic columns that look like a church organ.
