Hiking, running, swimming every bit of Hong Kong

Category Coasteering

Port Shelter

Nam Wai to Silverstrand beach was a lot better than expected route, with a few fun scrambling areas and pristine spring sea water.

Siu A Chau

Soko Islands offer history, very fun coasteering, and impressive rocks. So much that we did not have time to see everything that we had planned.

North Lantau

Not an especially interesting coasteering route. Just good for the “want to see it all”s or to increase the mileage after/before other routes around.

DBay – Disney

Not an especially interesting route but for the slabs just in front of Disney. Surprisingly fun ending to a short route if done on its own.

Mui Wo – DBay

The North of Mui Wo offers a bit more interesting and longer route than the South but without the additional possible climbing/scrambling.

Ma Wan

Continuing the exploration of all Hong Kong coastline, this little island with so so coasteering, peculiar spots and a bit of (sad) history.

Mui Wo South

Cute, short, and easy route with additional scrambling opportunities. Several crowdless beaches en route even with the civilized path close by.

Tsuen Wan coast

Do you want to continue exploring ALL the coastline? Or otherwise, are you a beginner who needs a really easy route? This is for you.

Tai Tam coasteering

The East shoreline of Tai Tam Bay offers an easy route full of small beaches and old structures. Good for beginners or “want to see it all”s.
