Decent small stream in the middle of nowhere. You can add it to the coasteering route under or for a long streams outing.
- Beauty/fun: 4/10 just because how far it is. If you happen to be around it’s worthwhile checking with quite some waterfalls and pools.m
- Difficulty (check this link if new here, this is not your standard HK hiking web): 5*/10 there are a few high scramblings but they have relatively good holds. Check the rocks. The stream looks little hiked and therefore with quite some rocks that can move or dislodge. If you try to continue up the hill you might find dense vegetation. In my way added difficulty of going up and down.

In my original plan I haven’tk considered this stream. But once I arrived there the flow looked better than Pak A Right creek, I could see ribbons of a group I know & I had plenty of time, so I decided to give it a try.
The bottom of the stream is just next to the abandoned resort (4b). The strongman, giraffe and the stream.
There are several dilapidated water gathering structures at the bottom. Clear water but with quite some algae. There are several pools and waterfalls en route. In approx. half an hour time I arrived to a deep one (5 – 1:10) where I cool down. First significant scrambling on its left and first big rock that I dislodge doing so 😅 Moving forward there are several 3-4m waterfalls easy to climb next (or in) to. Not even 10 minutes later I arrived at (6 – 2:05) a wide wall that might have a pretty waterfall after significant rain. Just after it the vegetation gets denser fast. After 10 minutes of fight I decided to give up. My calculation was that it would take me more than half an hour to connect back again with the same faint path that I had hiked before after Pak A Right creek. Even further North. So I would need more than an hour to go back again to the resort. Instead of that I went downstream and in half an hour I was down ready to move to the next spot: Tam Shui creeks.
