Another tiny stream heading down from Needle Hill this time to Shing Mun reservoir. Not remarkable at all. Another route for the hard-core.
- Beauty/fun: 3/10 low flow, small, almost no falls, bushy. As mentioned, just for the hard-core want-to-do-them-all-s.
- Difficulty (check this link if new here, this is not your standard HK hiking web): 4.5/10 just because of the fallen trees and bush navigation. Easy otherwise.

While I was checking all the outpaths of Needle Hill I also checked this stream. Still unnamed. But considering the parallel paths, Fei Lou (Fat guy) ridge & Fei Po (Fat lady) ridge, that it is sandwiched in, my guess is that it is called Fei Lou/Po stream 🤷♂️ Unremarkable. So I highly doubt I’ll ever bring buddies there.
Its entry is just next to the road all around the reservoir, just a bit after the Picnic site # 15.
The stream was slightly overgrown but not thorny. A few trees down from past typhoons. On the map marked the only sizeable waterfall. In rainy season. It was dry on Dec 2021. 5m + 1m atop. Climbable within. With a side path on its right.
Apart from that it was nice to find similar rocks to those on the aforementioned outpaths. They look as if they would have veins on. Connection atop with the MacLehose trail.
