Small stream with a few nice waterfalls and pretty rocks. Perfect to combine with other small streams around. Too short otherwise.

See full screen & the Garmin track.

As mentioned in the Ghost Anger stream post, not the most convenient start, public transportation-wise. Taxi or walk up on concrete to the tiny reservoir. Walk for a little while from there and go down here to the bridge.

But this time turn left after passing it. In no time you will see Snake Tongue stream 蛇舌坑. You could avoid the first fall completely going up the stairs. Go down through the tiny wood section if you want to climb in or next to the waterfall. Most people do the latter (watch the video below). Very doable if the rocks around are dry. If not it is easier to do what Matías was doing in the left picture. Jump to the pool and climb directly in and very close to the waterfall. Atop

several broken water catchment structures. Beware of the rust all around. Just immediately after another pool and a more difficult-to-climb waterfall. Matías tried to climb it (upper left pic) but eventually gave up and we all went through the side path on its left side (Alexa below). Just further up another waterfall that we all climbed after getting fully soaked in the pool under.

There is a side path/scramble on its left if you want to avoid it.

The stream felt very different, compared with my first exploration. With all the rocks wet due to the rain before, some of the scrambling just next to the falls became trickier and we needed to use several of the side paths, some of which are not particularly clear. Just look for ribbons and try to reconnect as soon as possible. In the upper section, there are a few more pools and smaller waterfalls. Even a small gorge-like pretty rock structure.

First time there I checked a bit upper, but there is nothing interesting. Therefore this time we took the 1st Exit marked on the map. Water channeling structure. Alexa struggling as wet slippery. Just above a concrete road from where to return to the starting point.

Video in Chinese with all the previous, taking the same exit.

In their case, the rocks were drier and some of the climbs therefore were easier. Like how I did it the first time.

The day with these guys we hiked it combined with Ghost Anger start for a half-day outing (Garmin track). On the map, I have also included going downstream Yuen Tun West Creek (purple line). If you are not in a rush, the three in one go is very doable. Later I added also Yuen Tun North Creek (light blue) & an easy nice connection (brown).

Everything you should know before stream hiking.
