Stream hiking & coasteering routes around MacLehose stage 1

Nam Fung Hang

Tiny creek around Maclehose trail section 1. A few man made structures & little more in it. Only for the most hardcore “I want to see them all”.

Po Kwu Hang

Above the Instagramy fishing pool there is a small stream that has a couple of decent waterfalls after significant rain. One more in Maclehose 1.

Sheung Yiu Hang

More checking of small streams around Maclehose stage 1. Barely one nice waterfall and a little more. For the “I want to see them all”s

SamTuk South Right

Tiny stream just good as potential exit for the Tai She coasteering. It gets bushy fast and doesn’t look too have significant waterfalls en route.

Tam Shui creeks

Twin streams that looked perfect to include in the coasteering route below, but are a complete pain in the current conditions.

Tai She Hang

Decent small stream in the middle of nowhere. You can add it to the coasteering route under or for a long streams outing.

Pak A Right creek

Tiny stream with a few waterfalls, some scrambling and too much bush walking. One more in the MacLehose Trail section one area.

Dai Hang

Short wide stream with photogenic rocks and relatively decent flow for the area that it is in, small hills. You can add it to the coasteering under.

Pak Lap creek

A tiny creek heading down to Pak Lap Bay in Saikung. It can have decent waterfalls immediately after rain. The exit was a pain though.
