Hiking, running, swimming every bit of Hong Kong

Category Kayaking

Cheung Muk Chau

Small but quite interesting island in Soko. Quite some sea caves, a tiny arch, big trees and a couple of smaller islets at short swimming distance.

Tau Lo Chau

The Southernmost island in Hong Kong. Various rock types in a relatively small area. Little visited and therefore with quite some birds around.

Tung Sam Chau

Tiny islands in the middle of Wang Chau, Town and Basalt islands. For those wanting to see every little corner of Hong Kong.

Tolo West

A picturesque (mostly in Instagram way) mangrove, clear water, some nice sandy areas, tiny interesting rocks and no more in this area.

Saikung kayak

Easy day out kayaking & coastal walking on the small islands in front of the Saikung main pier. Tons of sandy areas & almost no scrambling.

Cha Kwo Chau

Cha Kwo Chau 茶果洲 is a tiny island in front of Tong Fuk. A few peculiar rocks & little more. OK for a kayak visit or long-distance swimmers.

Crescent Island

Once upon a time, this was a remote island. Easier to reach now. A few peculiar rock formations in an easy & shortish coasteering route.

Mini Port

Tiny cute islands in the far North. Once impossible to reach but with a boat or your own kayaks. Way more accessible now for good & bad.

Hei Ling Chau

Way better than expected coasteering with nice scramble and big boulder areas. Half of the island is a No Go due to correctional and others.
