Hiking, running, swimming every bit of Hong Kong

Category Kayaking

Hei Ling Chau

Way better than expected coasteering with nice scramble and big boulder areas. Half of the island is a No Go due to correctional and others.

Tolo Islets

Tiny islets within the huge Tolo channel. Picturesque, above all with a drone, and not much more. Passing ground while kayaking/swimming.

Sunshine Island

Small remote island with decent coasteering and a very interesting last remaining villager. Kayaking or boat hiring required to go there.

Kau Yi Chau

Small islands in between Lantau & HK Island. A couple of nice beaches, OK short scrambling, combined with kayaking for a fun half day out.

Sha & Lung Kwu

Sha Chau and Lung Kwu Chau Marine Park (沙洲及龍鼓洲海岸公園) are relatively remote islands seldom visited. Interesting non the less.

Wang Chau

Spectacular island with an arch, long tunnel, hexagonal columns, a nice sandy area, clear water. A challenging approach for added fun 😉

Siu A Chau

Soko Islands offer history, very fun coasteering, and impressive rocks. So much that we did not have time to see everything that we had planned.

Kayaking in HK

Hong Kong offers a stunning coastline that we usually enjoy coasteering or swimming. If you would like to paddle instead here some info.

Beaufort Island

Although I haven’t been there myself, Tyler, Colin, and others have been. Therefore adding information for your reference (several readers asking).
