Hiking, running, swimming every bit of Hong Kong

Category Coasteering

Organ creek

Low flow stream with dense vegetation just interesting in the lower part. At the bottom volcanic columns that look like a church organ.

White Waterfall

Lau Pak Sui (流白水) is a 60-80m concatenation of waterfalls. A beauty that requires good weather conditions + coasteering & bushwalking.

Tung Sam Kei

A piece of coastline absolutely only recommended for those who want to check it ALL 🙋‍♂️😅 Saikung clear water and a little more here.

Ko Lau Wan East

A mixture of pretty rocks, short nice scrambling, and long pebble sections. Extra fun if you are ready to go long including Wong Mau Chau.

Mini Port

Tiny cute islands in the far North. Once impossible to reach but with a boat or your own kayaks. Way more accessible now for good & bad.

Fat Tong Chau

This tiny piece of coastline didn’t look too promising but it is cute and fun. Even small and with the landfill at the end, it deserves to pay a visit.

Double Haven

More coastal hiking than coasteering while crossing out the last significant sections of the “uncivilized” coast of Hong Kong. Easy & uninteresting.

West KoLauWan

Continuing with my goal of checking all the rocky coastline, another so so route with too much wading & only a few pretty & fun sections.

Hei Ling Chau

Way better than expected coasteering with nice scramble and big boulder areas. Half of the island is a No Go due to correctional and others.
